Haiku Bible is a mobile application that provides:

3. Subscription Terms

Important Subscription Information:

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account
• Manage Subscription: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
• Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with advance notice; price changes take effect at the start of the next billing period
• Refunds: Refund requests should be directed to Apple through the App Store as payments are processed by Apple
• Free Trial: If offered, any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update your information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You will not:

• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or subscription requirements
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App
• Redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit App content
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

We strive for accuracy, but AI-generated content may contain errors or reflect particular interpretive perspectives. Users should:

• Verify insights with trusted scholarly sources
• Consult religious leaders or scholars for theological questions
• Exercise personal discernment when applying insights

We are not responsible for any decisions or actions taken based on AI-generated content.

7. Biblical Text Content

Bible translations available through our Service are provided by API.Bible and are subject to their respective copyright and licensing terms. Users should respect these copyrights when sharing or using biblical text from our Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by Haiku Word LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your content (notes, bookmarks) remains yours. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely to provide the service to you.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services (such as authentication providers and payment processors). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

We are not responsible for:

• Content accuracy of Bible translations (provided by third parties)
• Theological interpretations in AI-generated insights
• Data loss due to device failure or user error
• Service interruptions beyond our reasonable control

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HAIKU WORD LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Haiku Word LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• Active subscriptions will not be refunded for the current period
• You may lose access to your stored data

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Haiku Word LLC regarding the App.
